There are a few possible reasons why Spotify might only be playing 10 seconds of a song:
- You might have accidentally enabled the “Shuffle Play” feature, which causes Spotify to play songs in random order. If this is the case, the app will only play a short preview of each song before moving on to the next one. To disable shuffle play, go to the Now Playing screen and tap on the shuffle icon (it looks like two arrows forming a circle) to turn it off.
- You might be experiencing a connectivity issue. If you are using a mobile data connection or have a weak Wi-Fi signal, the app might not be able to stream the song in full. Try connecting to a stronger Wi-Fi network or switching to a wired connection to see if that fixes the issue.
- There might be an issue with the app itself. Try quitting the app and reopening it, or try restarting your device. You can reinstalling the app or contacting Spotify Support for further assistance if the problem persists.
