An Instagram notification is a notification that is sent to you by the Instagram app to inform you of activity or updates related to your account or the app. Instagram notifications can be delivered to you in a variety of ways, such as through push notifications on your phone or tablet, through email, or in-app notifications within the Instagram app.
There are different types of Instagram notifications that you can receive, including notifications for new followers, likes or comments on your posts, mentions or tags in other users’ posts, messages or requests from other users, and more. You can control which notifications you receive by adjusting your notification settings within the Instagram app. To do this, go to your profile, tap the three lines in the top right corner, tap “Settings,” then tap “Notifications.” From here, you can choose which types of notifications you want to receive and how you want to receive them.
Who you might know is on Instagram notification
“Who You Might Know” is a feature on Instagram that suggests accounts for you to follow based on your activity on the platform. When you receive a “Who You Might Know” notification, it means that Instagram has identified accounts that you might be interested in following based on your activity, such as accounts that you have interacted with or accounts that are similar to accounts you already follow.
To see the accounts that Instagram has suggested for you to follow, you can tap on the notification or go to the “Discover People” section of the app. In the “Discover People” section, you can browse the suggested accounts and follow the ones that interest you. You can also adjust your notification settings to control whether you receive notifications about presented accounts to follow. To do this, go to your profile, tap the three lines in the top right corner, tap “Settings,” then tap “Notifications,” and select “Who You Might Know.” From here, you can choose to turn on or off notifications for this feature.
